Can we change the colour of the Subject, From, Date heading to grey?

In the older versions of thunderbird the Subject, From, Date etc. header was grey and this differentiated it from the mail in the inbox.

Is there anyway to change it from white?

Thanks

I think the easiest way to change the appearance of Thunderbird is to select and install a "complete theme" that suits your taste.

https://addons.mozilla.org/nn-NO/thunderbird/complete-themes/

Note the name of one you like then go to Tools|Add-ons in Thunderbird and search for your chosen theme there. I use Phoenity Shredder.

The next step, if you're not happy with any of the themes on offer, is to learn enough about css to write your own userChrome.css file
