I"m using Firefox 57 and the tiles/icons for the Top Sites are too small. I need to increase the size of those icons/tiles/images. How do I do this?

Hi dannyboi:

There is no setting to increase the top site icon size. I will pass this request on to engineering ; others have asked for it; you are not alone :-) !

I know it's not exactly what you are looking for but ou can however make the whole browser bigger using Control+ or Command + on a Mac. And Control0 (i.e. the zero key) or Command0 on a Mac resets it to the normal size.

Cheers!

Hi, there are a few options currently available -

To increase the number of thumbnails (not size), type about:config into the address bar, press Enter, accept the warning, scroll down to browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.topSiteCount then right click > Modify to change the number to e.g. 18. Now restart Firefox.

To use the old version - which may be removed at some time in the future, type about:config into the address bar, press Enter, accept the warning, scroll down to browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.enabled and double click on it to change 'Value' from True to False, then restart Firefox.

Alternatively, you can use this add-on which has large thumbnails and various customizations https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/new-tab-tools/

If your question is resolved by this or another answer, please take a minute to let us know. Thank you!
