I wanted to add an icon to my desktop for quick access to a particular web site, but don't know how.

Hi  !

The way I always do it :

First : copy the URL of the page you want to create the shortcut for.

Click on an empty space on your desktop.

Press the 3-bar key on your keyboard and on the context menu that appears, choose 'New'.

Another context menu will appear : choose 'Shortcut'

On the context menu that will appear then, paste the URL you had copied and click 'Next'.

The shortcut will appear on your desktop, and you can change the name of the shortcut to whatever you like.
