What's the best way to move Firefox to another disk on the same system?

My "system" disk is a smallish SSD that's rapidly filling up with software that by default is installed on this same disk. To make room on this disk for the ever-expanding OS, I am moving non-OS software to a regular drive. For most of my programs it's simply a matter of uninstalling from the "C:" drive and then reinstalling on the "D:" drive, but in the case of programs like browsers and email clients it's not so simple. At least that's how it looks to me.

I'm running the very latest Firefox and I don't appear to have a current installation file for it. The most recent installation file I have is for 52.xx; I'm now on 57.0.1.

Barring any advice for a simpler move, here's what I intend to do: 1. Save all my info (add-ons, bookmarks, etc) in an appropriate format. 2. Uninstall Firefox. 3. Reinstall Firefox (via the Mozilla site), making sure I install it on the D: drive. 4. Import the saved info into Firefox at its new location.

What could go wrong?

While Firefox can be installed on D:/ - the Profile folders will still be on the same drive as where the operating system resides. Specifically @ C:/users.
