Did you ask the sender if it was up to date certificate? The Browser does have it's internal checks to verify it and if it fails that it will not work.

This is self signed certificate thats been attached earlier. i am trying to download it not install it. Here Mozilla firefox seems to install directly and fails. In all other browsers i am able to download as file.
