I can't uncheck save username checkbox from wells fargo site
Every time I log in to Wells Fargo my friends user name and password come up. The save user name box is checked though we never checked it. I can uncheck and type my own info in and get into my accounts, but when I sign out and sign back in, the check user name box is checked again with my friends info. I can switch to saving my own info, but I don't want the check info box to be checked at all.
I use an imax

Hi fleetvanriper. there are a variety of ways that information could appear there, so here are a few things to check:
(1) Saved Login
You can check for that here:
- Mac: "3-bar" menu button (or Firefox menu) > Preferences
- Linux: "3-bar" menu button (or Edit menu) > Preferences
- Windows: "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options
- Any system: type or paste about:preferences into the address bar and press Enter/Return to load it
In the left column, click Privacy & Security. The on the right side, find the "Saved Logins" and check there. Remove any unwanted logins.
(2) Form Autofill entry
Normally, this feature doesn't save user names, but...
When Firefox has saved form history, if you blank out the field and press the down arrow, the saved values should be shown. You can arrow down to an item you want to remove and press Shift+Delete to remove it from history.
(3) Site Cookie
To clear data the site has saved in cookies, you can use the Page Info dialog. While viewing a page on the site, try either:
- right-click (on Mac Ctrl+click) a blank area of the page and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
- (menu bar) Tools > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
- click the padlock or "i" icon in the address bar, then the ">" button, then More Information, and finally the "View Cookies" button
In the dialog that opens, the current site should be pre-filled in the search box at the top of the dialog so you can remove that site's cookies individually. (Or, if necessary, you can edit the address.)
Then try reloading the page bypassing the cache, which you can do by holding down the Shift key when clicking the Reload button, or pressing Command+Shift+r (non-Mac: Ctrl+Shift+r).
Are you able to get rid of the unwanted name?
