Hello,

When I use Firefox and outlook.office.com (office 365) to send emails, it seems to add extra vertical spaces, or not display the ones I have properly. I am copy pasting from a Microsoft Word Document.

When I send the paste to someone using the actual Outlook program, all of the paragraph spacing is messed up.

I have tried switching to the Microsoft Edge browser and I do not have the same issue.

Please help, as I would like to continue using Firefox!

There are two ways to send out e-mails. 1) Text Only 2) HTML allows using word type commands for formatting the message.

Check what your settings are on the e-mail site. You can also change the format you are using as you create the message.

Note that MS Word can add a lot of HTML formatting code to what gets placed on the clipboard. Firefox pastes what is on the clipboard and this can lead to weird formatted text.

You can paste the text first in a plain text editor and then do another copy and paste to cleanup the code you paste in the e-mail.
