how can i get rid of HTML code in messages?

when receiving messages in the header dialog box it says: From/To/Subject/Date - then it has about 3 pages of HTML code that I don't know how to get rid of. This code prints when I print the email and shows up when responding.

Go to the View menu and set Headers to Normal instead of All.
