well done
on making a mess of quantam. each tab cannot be made home page because add on no longer work. all the options in add ons should be an option in FF before they changed. tried it on a vm and all settings are gone and flash won't work on the old ff. what a mess

Hi, you need to be a little clearer on what you were trying to do , since your asking on version 56. A little hard to work with someone when they are not in the same ball park as you.
From the 3 Bar Menu in 57+ go to Options and in 61+ Options --> Home In Home you can turn off all of the new page tab and select what ever page you would like as your home page.
There is also :
If you want to make a 2nd or third or more as a Home Page, put your URL in where it has always gone then separate it by a | then stick the URL in again and so forth.
Hope that clears up things for you or do you have other things you would like to work on ?
I have quantam on a vm but i posted from 56 on my real system. I was annoyed at the way quantum make most of the add ons not work. That is why i did not update my real system. i would not update the vm except flash would not work
I think before mozilla go changing all these things they should make the browser have all the options provided by add ons. they seem to go out of their way to make things difficult
my vm is not open now so i can't look but i don't think you can make all tabs be home page in quantum? So when you open a new tab you get google.com not a blank or a loads of shortcuts to sites. There are load of add ons i had set up to have the computer as i wanted it, most will not work now and most do not have replacements.Mozilla should have thought of that first. I am going to go back to 56. Thanks for your help
hi, so in case your question is not about the homepage that opens at startup but the site that appears whenever you open a new tab, you can easily adjust that with an addon like https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/new-tab-override/ in new firefox versions...
@ philipp Thanks for that it helps a bit.
@ Pkshadow Thanks for your help too

Welcome. If wanting a bunch of tabs to open at startup that have separate home pages in Options then Home where the URL is for a Homepage put a Vertical line with no spacing between the next URL. Example : Firefox.com|mozilla.org So the above would open 2 tabs at start up 1 going to each site. just add more like above if want more.
