Firefx?: Dear Firefox user You're today’s lucky visitor for: 8/2/18 Pls complete this short survey, to say “Thank You” chance to get a $1000 Amazon Giftcard
I searched for a site, then clicking on the site in the results page, it gave me the below popup window with only a Yes option on the popup stating the following:
Dear Firefox user,
You are today’s lucky visitor for: August 2, 2018
Please complete this short survey and to say “Thank You” we’ll give you a chance to get a $1000 Amazon Giftcard!
there are 4 questions on the webpage below the above popup, lame ones, if I click anywhere on the webpage the popup window disappears. But my issue is that if I hit the back button, it brings me right back to the page with the popup window, if I right-mouse-click on the back button it only shows 15 instances of "2018 Annual Visitor Survey - not my original search with results. If I try to reload my homepage (Bing) it will give me a message about leaving a page without completing.... I say, Yes Leave Page, it goes right back to the same page, I hit the homepage button again, it FINALLY loads my homepage. I lost the page at that point, if I try to go back NOW, I get Firefox's cute little Thingee (fox?) saying Server Not Found... but I DO have their website address from my History: http://game6801.check-bobmoney44.loan/?utm_medium=NQ3aDvyuBCtafRQJPeFC66tm%2bMNW8T%2baflxP0d0AJGo%3d&t=main7_7 Is this something from Firefox?

Unfortunately you stumbled upon a very common scam.
This "survey" has nothing to do with Mozilla, Firefox, or any reputable company. It only exists to steal your information or money.
Please follow these steps to make sure you are safe:
- Download and run a scan with Malwarebytes (www.malwarebytes.com)
- Install https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/ublock-origin/ to block ads and many scams like this
I hope this helps!
Hi RobanneT, if you see this again, after right-clicking the Back button, choose the furthest back page you can, then immediately do it again. Hopefully you can get past all the garbage.
Alternately, try the History menu. Either:
- Click the "Library" toolbar button, then History, then find the page you want on the Recent History list
- Tap the Alt key to activate the classic menu bar, then History, then find the page you want on the list
- Press Ctrl+h to open the History Sidebar, then find the page you want on the list there (the sort order is a little less predictable than the two menus, but you can change it)
Hi, if get the main site as your the person to do this is to click 3 Bar Menu, Help then Report Deceptive site. also : https://safebrowsing.google.com/safebrowsing/report_phish/?hl=en

If Mozilla (the company that makes Firefox) was legitimately giving out prizes to random people it would likely be on a *.mozilla.org page and not some random weird url site.
So the scammers went back to $1000 gift card. First it was a iPhone X, then a $1000 gift card from somewhere then a Samsung S8 or S9 is what most were getting for as so called prize in last while. All you have to do is complete a short survey or give money transfer details for $1 or $2 for so called shipping.
Mozilla has done surveys over the years by way of http://qsurvey.mozilla.com which is surveygizmo.com however no form of prizes are given for doing them.
