Alphabatize bookmarks
How do I alphabetize my bookmarks. My answer is not under the heading of "organize bookmarks"

Hi rjrj100, when you right-click a bookmark folder, one of the options on the menu is Sort by Name. That will alphabetize the contents of the folder.
To alphabetize the main Bookmarks Menu, or the Bookmarks Toolbar, there is a trick: open the Library window using either
- Show All Bookmarks
- (Windows) Ctrl+Shift+b
Then look in the left column for Bookmarks Menu or Bookmarks Toolbar and right-click it there to Sort by Name.
Now... those are all one-time operations. Firefox will still add new bookmarks at the end of the list.
There are some bookmark-related add-ons which can add new bookmarks in other places. Depending on your preferred work style, you could search the Add-ons site and see whether any are of interest.
I followed the instructions as indicated. When I am in the "Bookmarks Menu or Bookmarks Toolbar and right-click it there to Sort by Name" section, not only does it not alphabetize when I click "sort by name", not all of my bookmarks are not displayed either. When I return to the actual bookmark column, the bookmarks are not alphabetized there either.
Maybe I should post a screenshot showing what I mean. I can't test this right now because I don't want to sort my menu again.
Now when you say "not all of my bookmarks are not displayed either," what do you mean? New bookmarks usually are added under the "Other Bookmarks" category, formerly known as "Unsorted Bookmarks". You can drag-and-drop them or cut-and-paste to a different set (menu, toolbar).
There is an Undo under the Organize menu (or press Ctrl+z) if something goes terribly wrong when you're moving bookmarks.
Sorry my response was confusing. I’m leaving for the day. Can we continue tomorrow? If so, is it possible to do it by phone?
There will be someone here tomorrow to help, maybe me, maybe someone else.
