Receiving this error message: Sending of password for user zjdodger1@bellsouth.net did not succeed. Mail server inbound.att.net responded: Server error - Please try again later.

I've updated my password, tried starting in safe mode without add ons, but nothing works. I'm also able to log into my webmail, so there isn't anything wrong with AT&T.

ATT has started requiring the use of a secure key when using a 3rd party email client to access they servers. They must have done a bad job of informing their customers. https://www.att.com/esupport/article.html#!/email-support/KM1240308?gsi=N51wTL4

Thanks very much! I never heard a thing about this.

Neither have most of ATT customers judging by the number of times this is asked here. ATT must have decided to keep it a secret.
