I just set up my email on Thunderbird. I have 2 "sent" folders: one is called "Sent" and the other is called "Sent Items." I only want one, unless there is some reason why I would need two?? I am using Hover as my email provider. I've been sending test emails out, and it looks like the test emails from yesterday are in the Sent Items folder and the emails from today are in the Sent folder. Will emails be migrated over from Sent to Sent Items every night? Or is the existence of 2 folders a glitch? Maybe I changed my settings and it resulted in a second sent folder inadvertently being created? Would love to just have one sent folder, if possible. Thanks!

TB will place sent messages in the folder specified under Tools/Account Settings, Copies & Folders. 'When sending messages, automatically'. But the mail provider may already have a folder designated for sent messages, and it might be different from the one set in TB, or the one set on other devices with the same account. Once you have everything set up to place sent messages in the same folder, you can unsubscribe from the folders that are not used so they no longer appear in the TB folder pane.
