I do not want my Inbox emails threaded.

There is one posted answer. To Quote it "To make all new folders unthreaded, open Preferences/Advanced/General/Config. editor and change the preference mailnews.default_view_flags to 0 (zero), OK to close Options.

The posted answer is relevant to Macs. For Windows, Tools/Options/Advanced/General/Config. editor.

You could also select the Inbox, or any folder, and set View/Sort by to Unthreaded. Press F10 or Alt if the Menu Bar is hidden.
