I can not get Thunderbird to find an Outlook.com account. The email address and password are correct. Setting are correct any other thoughts??

What anti virus are you using? I know Norton makes creating new accounts almost impossible until you turn off it's sonar thing.

If you have two-step verification for the account, you need an app password to add it to TB.
