I need to download Google Widevine Media Optimizer in order to watch movies using Firefox. When I go to any of the download links, I get a message that it cannot be opened because it is not an Apple authorized application. I am concerned that I will be opening a malicious file. What is the correct link to use? Do you know what settings I need to adjust to allow my computer to open the file? Thank you!

Firefox uses the Widevine plugin (Options/Preferences -> Plugins) to watch DRM protected media files. Firefox doesn't use the Google Widevine Media Optimizer.

Try to toggle DRM off/on to see if that makes Firefox (re)load DRM components.

Thank you. I will not be able to test this until I need to use it on board a ship. Here's the instructions I was sent.

Follow the on-screen instructions to download. TO CONNECT 1. Ensure you are connected to the onboard Wi-Fi. 2. Viaabrowser, launchthefollowing URL: http://fleetmedia.tv or click on the Fleet Media URL in the portal. 3. Click on an icon to display a pop-up
