Pop up blocker did not work and I got SCAMMED. Need work
I tried to purchase tickets from Ticket Master, a pop up came up and I got scammed. The pop up should of never come up. Can they make the pop up blocker better? When I use Chrome it does not let anything come up, without asking. I use Firefox as my default browser, but I might have to give that another thought. We got lousy tickets, even if they come. Go to the Mozilla Add-ons Web Page {web Link} (There’s a lot of good stuff here) and search for a good ad blocker.
You may have ad/mal-ware. Further information can be found in this article; https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-caused-malware?cache=no
Run most or all of the listed malware scanners. Each works differently. If one program misses something, another may pick it up.

Hi Fred, where did the popup come up? For example, after you were already on the Ticket Master site, or while you were using a search engine or other page to find the Ticket Master site?
Firefox's popup blocker allows sites to open a popup window after certain user actions, so some sites will take advantage of that to open a new popup window while also navigating to a new page when you click a link. You can make the popup blocker stricter, but it may interfere with the functioning of some pages. If you want to try it anyway:
(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter/Return. Click the button promising to be careful or accepting the risk.
(2) In the search box above the list, type or paste popup and pause while the list is filtered
(3) Double-click the dom.popup_allowed_events preference to display a dialog where you can edit the value and clear everything out, then click OK
That removes all the exceptions used by the popup blocker (other than website exceptions you add by allowing popups on a particular site).
