& the one I really depend on, Zoom Button for TB, is not compatible w/ new rev and cannot find an equivalent.

Need to control both size of font in message windows, and size of font in the TB app windows (like the inbox list of messages).

156 Questions and counting.

Have you looked on the main Tools menu or the application menu under "addon options"? Or the application menu under add-ons.

This new feature is documented in the release notes and the following article https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/new-thunderbird-60#w_some-add-ons-may-not-work

Have you tried adding say the theme and font size changer to your toolbar? Using the customize option for the toolbar. (right click the toolbar)

Yes to all that - I have looked in those places. I cannot "add it to my toolbar" because THERE IS NO ICON ANYWHERE so I cannot drag it anywhere.

re help file: I see " TOOLS / add on Preferences" not "options" but that might be an Apple phrase for OSX FF? It accesses the Preferences -- but as I said, nothing is toggled off (hidden) in Theme & Font SC.

In the Add Ons window, both are listed as "enabled." The other is Auto Zoomer.

Oh crap. On my El Capitan computer running TB 60.6.0, I have authorized an update to 60.6.1 to happen at the next restart.

However, that is the version I have just begun using on my other computer running Sierra, and Zoom Button for Thunderbird is listed as "not compatible" when I try to Install it.

So is my El Capitan computer going to lose Zoom Button next time I restart? Am I going to have the same bug where it won't run Theme & Font Size Changer? Don't want to risk that -- how can I undo this "update on next restart" status?

Zoom Button for Thunderbird works here in TB 60.6.1. To install, or re-enable if already installed, first open Preferences(Win:Tools/Options)/Advanced/General/Config. editor and double-click the preference extensions.strictCompatibility to false, OK to close Options.

TF&SC (fixed) also works here; the settings are under the Tools menu in the main window and Tools/Add-on Options.

I cannot get it to change from true to false. Using OSX Sierra. Usually with about:config stuff you can hover to toggle or it will highlight so you can type into it.

OK weird behavior. Needed to do a 2-finger tap to bring up a menu. Should be a generic double-tap, that should work however the user has set up his OSX Gestures.

Nope, no icons for either. Restarted a couple of times.

View/Toolbars/Customize and drag the Zoom button onto the Mail Toolbar. There is no button for TF&SC.

Tried that right away, icons not tucked away there.

TF&SC has an icon in the Firefox toolbar on my El Capitan computer. Its also in the TOOLS dropdown in TB on El Cap.

Check that the Zoom add-on is enabled in Tools/Add-ons/Extensions. It works here with TB 60.6.1/W10.

For TF&SC (fixed) for TB (not Firefox), open Tools/Add-on Options for the add-on and uncheck the three boxes, then the settings appear under Tools in the main menu.

As I have said... Enabled, and the default Pref is to NOT hide. I've toggled & restarted...
