How do I activate a completed study

I had removed the active study because it didn't match the number seen in the following link. A study with a matching number was in the completed studies list, so I thought that I'd be able to activate it after removing the other one, but it didn't work like that, so I think I screwed something up...

UPDATE: Firefox 66.0.4 and 60.6.2esr are now available with the new certificate needed to solve this problem. See: Update Firefox to the latest release.

Hi markfleener, if the study was retrieved, and was listed as active, it should have run. Do you think it didn't run, or it didn't do what you expected?

Well, I just noticed that all of my Firefox addons were disabled today when I woke up, so I was looking into applying a fix. Anyhow, I had to do a factory reset on my computer for another reason and I haven't installed Firefox again yet. Did they ever get all the addons enabled again today?

Hi markfleener, you still need to get that new certificate into Firefox one way or another. This thread has some alternate methods: https://support.mozilla.org/questions/1258208

Well, I finally finished doing the factory reset on my computer and got the latest Firefox installed, but I can't seem to restore my profile back up from a couple days ago, as instructed in this link...

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/back-and-restore-information-firefox-profiles

After I replace the current profile folder with my profile back up I try to open Firefox up, but it says "Firefox is already running but not responding. To open a new window, you must first close the existing Firefox process, or restart your system." There was no trace of Firefox running in the task manager, so I tried to reboot my system, but that didn't help. The 2nd time I tried to open Firefox it started a-new, as if nothing had been done to it yet. Two folders then appear in the Profiles folder. I tried deleting the new folder that appeared, but it just ends up doing the same thing again. Before I did my factory reset, I tried restoring my Firefox profile and it had worked then, even fixed the disabled addons, so what gives? Thank you so much for your help.

...Do i have to create a new profile using Profile Manager?

Hi markfleener, If you haven't already, could you first set Windows to show hidden files and folders:

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/14201/windows-show-hidden-files

Next, what is in the following folder now? Is it both what you copied in from your backup and something new? Or more than two folders?

C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles

If you open the following page in Firefox (type or paste in the address bar and then press Enter to load):

about:profiles

Does it match up with what you have on disk?

I just figured it out and it worked. All my bookmarks and addons are there. Instead of replacing the entire folder inside of Profiles, I replaced the stuff inside the folder, then rebooted just for the heck of it (not sure if that was needed).
