Firefox 60.6.1ESR crashes on non-persistent VDI machines
On our non-persistent VDI environment we experiencing users where FireFox crashes frequently - We're running W7 Enterprise 32bits - Firefox version 60.6.1ESR 32 bits
i was expecting Sophos to causing this issue, so i created a new VDI machine without Sophos installed. The same issue appered.
I can reproduce the issue when launching a radio station on http://www.onlineluisteren.nl/ Issue appears between the 5 minutes and 2 hours
Worknotes: - Launched firefox in safe mode - Turned off hardware acceleration - created a new VDI image without our anti-virus 'Sophos' - issue was also happening with Firefox 60.5.2ESR

We've managed to resolve the issue. A Citrix studio policy called: "Disconnected session timer interval' which was enabled caused the issue. After disabling this policy firefox was working fine. We'll report this to citrix for further investigation

This will take some time to research. Meanwhile; Update Sophos Anti-Virus. If the problem continues, disable it.
I called for more help. Are these on the same machine? Part of an Enterprise?

The crashreports where Sophos is disabled is on one machine. The others are/could be on multiple machines. The users we have change machines once then logoff and logon
The first 3 crash reports are with sophos uninstalled. https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/8b0db8fe-fba8-4cfb-b621-c87740190507 https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/94037459-040a-404a-a7f0-3aca70190507 https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/62aa7ab3-0adb-47b7-ab20-26de60190507

Did you update Firefox ESR to the latest version; Firefox ESR 60.6.2 May 5, 2019 Repaired certificate chain to re-enable web extensions that had been disabled

Signature: IPCError-browser | ShutDownKill
A ShutDownKill normally means something about the browser is not responding or taking too long to do its job.

Start your Computer in safe mode with network support. Then start Firefox. Try Secure websites. Is the problem still there?
