Was running "latest" 68.x.x version. This morning in Thunderbird an 'Update available' message popped up. (Version 68.3.0). Applied the update from within TBird. After restart my existing profile was not seen and the installing progress window just churning. Rebooted and restarted TBird, no change. Finally shutdown and tried to recover by reinstalling 6.1.1 but got the "Newer Version..." window. Profile manager yielded same error message. Manually downloaded 68.3.0 and manually ran install. Got same "Newer version..." pop-up. Finally uninstalled Thunderbird and re-installed using 60.9.0 and regained full function. No add-ons are being used. Is 68.3.0 another broken update?
