Option to limit GPU-RAM-Usage?

more options

Hello,

is there an option to limit the usage of GPU-Resources? I have an GTX 970 which behaves weird if more than 3.5 GB of GPU-Memory are used due to the memory connection (Framebuffer apparently becomes corrupt). I'd like to limit Firefox to 2GB or something so i still have some left for other applications.

Is this possible?

Kind Regards

Alternatively it would be helpful to have a button to clear all graphical page data that are open right now, even if that would result in a reload of the pages if i visit them again.
