How can I open a file type of mhtml? Also why can I not browse to my google drive using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + o (File open)?
I have been saving files from my Chromebook to my Google Drive so that I could use them when I'm at my desk. All works well using my Chromebook but when I go to my desk to open these files I can't open them. They are saved as 'mhtml' file type. My desk PC is a HP laptop running Widows 10. When trying to browse to my google drive I get the error seen attached below. If it is a local file I am redirected to Microsoft IE and can open the file but that defeats the purpose of having the files stored in the cloud. Any help out there?

Firefox does not have a built-in converter for MHTML files. I don't know why not, it just hasn't been a priority to add one.
I create an MHT file by saving a page from Google Chrome (desktop) and put in in a shared folder on Drive:

When I look at viewing options, I see the attached. You could try one of those.
I've seen these when using Chrome but they scare me with their questions and I have no idea what booogle.net is. My biggest concern with Firefox right now is why I'm not able to browse to my google drive when using the File Open (Ctrl + o) option. I would assume if I could get there then Firefox would redirect me to IE. I do appreciate your response. I will try creating a share and I suppose share it to myself?
Thanks, BobE
In Firefox, Ctrl+O usually opens a standard Windows 10 File Open dialog, showing the drives/shares available in File Explorer.
