A vertical scroll bar suddenly appeared on the left hand side of my screen when I view Twitter on my laptop. The scroll bar disappears if I hide the Menu Bar. How can I get rid of this scroll bar while having the Menu Bar visible?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Because your screen is not tall enough to display the entire sidebar menu, Firefox has to display a a scroll bar so that you can access items lower on the menu.

You can try possibly zooming out of the website a little bit so that the entire contents of the sidebar will fit on the height of your screen. See Font size and zoom - increase the size of web pages for more information on zooming in and out of pages in Firefox.

Hope this helps.
