How to go back to the version 68 of Thunderbird after upgrading to version 78?
After more than a week of nagging suggestions shown during startup of my Thunderbird 68.10.0 I decided to install Thb 78.0.1. Unfortunately (but in agreement with the long Thunderbird "tradition"), it turned out that some extensions don't work, including QuickFolders which are very important for me as I have many gigabytes of mail, more than a hundred folders, and a couple of dozens of them I use many times a day. After I checked that compatible QuickFolders version will be available not earlier than for Thb 78.2, I decided to go back to the last working version and followed suggested by support pages procedure: uninstalled Thb 78 and reinstalled 68.10.0. Then I was shown the following message (upper window) containing a bit discouraging message. Thus I tried "More information..." link and was rewarded with a bit cryptic proposal (lower window).
Now the question: has anybody attempted to go further on from that point toward fully functional Thb version ie. Thb 68.10 or Thb 68.11? If so how it was done?

OS: Windows 7 I have backup of my profile (7zip-ed to ~12 GiB), but of course the new message downloaded after start of the 78.0 will be lost.

A search of the text in that screen shot reveals https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/unable-launch-older-version-profile
That said, version 78.2 is only a couple weeks away.

I am concerned about this. We do have updates disabled. So I need to ask, do you have Kaspersky AV installed?
