it has not changed much in decades really.

copy your existing profile to the new location. Use the profile wizard in about:profiles to create a new profile specifying your profiles new location as it's destination.

The profile is usually stored in a folder names with default or release in the name and the whole [profile folder should be copied

about:profiles is in the troubleshooting information on the help menu.

Matt.. just wanted to thank you very much for the help and the solution to my problem of moving my TBird Profile to another SSD disk on my Dell Desktop..it let me free up a lot of space on my smaller 256gb OS C drive.... those Mozilla Profiles get me every time I either try to move them or transfer them to a new PC..now I know what to blame for losing all my hair over the years :) .. again all kidding aside.. many thanx.. appreciate it
