My computer recently crashed, so I got a new one. I took it to a local computer chap to transfer the data. He was unable to transfer my address book. The hard drive on my old computer is OK but the software is so badly corrupted that the address book can't be accessed. The chap says he has a file that has located the address book but it requires an app to open it in the new computer, can anyone help please?

The files should be with extensions .mab (abook & history). There might be also some backup files created by TB - those files will be .mab.bak and to use/try them you will need to put them on the profile folder and remove the .bak Those files should be possible to be opened automatically by TB.
