I am trying to import a list of Email Addresses in text and cvs format without any success. It says an error occured and all addresses my not be imported. No address are imported. The format is comma separated

e.g. name,email John Doe, jdoe123@gmail.com etc

most of the issues I mention in this 2013 posting are still just the same. Including Excel making odd CSV files. https://thunderbirdtweaks.blogspot.com/2013/03/importing-csv-files.html
