Files sent to trash were accidentally dumped. Each time I open Thunderbird it opens a box asking if I want to delete around 600KB to save space. I click "NO" I'm thinking those are the files that were in my TRASH that got DUMPED. Is there any way to restore those?

You are being asked to compact your already deletes mail mail that is still in folders like the inbox but hidden because it has been copied to another folder (including the trash folder.)..... it has nothing at all to do with anything being dumped.
