I have twelve email accounts in Thunderbird (including Local Folders).

Two of those accounts are not displaying their Sent folder.

Settings have been checked and they are set to copy sent emails to the Sent folder.

Attempts to create the Sent folder using Right-Click / Create Folder are met with error message; folder already exists.

No idea how long they have been missing.

There are no add-ons (that I've added at least). This is a stock, out-of-the-box installation with updates automatically applied as they come up.

Thunderbird 78.9.1 (32-bit) Windows 7 Pro SP1

Apparently no one else at Mozilla or Thunderbird have a clue either. How sweet. < eyes rolling >

Thunderbird does not create a sent folder until you send an email using that account. Have you?

Is your account with one of the large providers (they all have quirks) mentioning who hosts the account is very helpful. Reduces the level of guessing.

BTW just so you don't continue with the wrong idea, this is a support forum where support is provided by other Thunderbird users. Snide remarks about Mozilla or even the Thunderbird teams are fairly meaningless here as no one actually get paid to be here, nor do they generally respond well to cynics. We are already plenty cynical. We don't need help there.

If you want help, provide pertinent information like error messages, account providers and the anti virus solution you use (damn they cause some trouble)

Is the option in account setting to only display subscribed folders selected? When you right click the account and select subscribe, do you see the folders as subscribed?
