I've just restored a back up from my old mac to a new mac. I have noticed issues with using Facebook on firefox; unable to post, when clicking notification, I DON'T get a drop down box, it takes me to the URL for all notifications, but only loads a blank screen. When I click on messenger, it takes me to the URL, but only loads a blank screen. Unable to click on 'log out' Unable to click on 'send as text message'

Firefox is not recognising live links correctly.

This article may shed some light: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/fix-problems-facebook-games-chat-and-more If not, you could try starting Firefox in troubleshoot mode: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/diagnose-firefox-issues-using-troubleshoot-mode A 'backup' of what? Your OS, your Firefox profile, something else? Removing the cache may help. If it doesn't, removing site data and cookies may fix the issue and, if that isn't enough, right-click all Facebook locations in History (ctl+shft+h) and select "Forget About This Site".
