how to allow popups in my browser?
I made a payment online, & when I tried to print a receipt I got a notice that the popup was blocked. How do I unblock that? I wasn't aware that I have a block on this browser. Thanks for your help!

If you have a popup block add-on enabled, then you should disable it temporary for the popup to work. Steps: 1. Go to firefox menu (3 lines at the top right corner) 2. Click Add-ons and Themes 3. Click Extensions from the left side-bar 4. Choose the popup blocker add-ons 5. If the add-on is enable, disable it 6. If possible, refresh the page 7. Then, print or save your receipt
If you do not have such add-ons in your browser, you can do this Steps: 1. Go to firefox menu (3 lines at the top right corner) 2. Click Settings 3. Scroll down until you see permission 4. Under permission, uncheck block pop-up windows OR check it and click exceptions and paste the address of the website into the bar and click save changes 5. Exit firefox and relaunch the browser.

What happened to the option to 'ALLOW POPUPS' for this one action, without disabling all popups?

You can use pop up blocker for this matter. Some pop up blockers provide options to allow pop up for certain actions, without disabling all popups. I believe this is the most reliable solution to your question.
You can also make an exception for firefox to allow pop up in certain websites, but the down side is the website will be able to create pop up forever unless you remove the exception.

If Firefox's built-in feature blocks a popup, you may find either an "info bar " appearing between the bottom of the toolbar area and the top of the page or an extra icon in the address bar you can click to take action on the block. Did you see either of those? If not, I wonder whether the site did some kind of test in the background rather than simply trying to generate the new window.

It should appear when (and only when) Firefox blocks a popup. If you want to grant a site popup permission in advance you can do it this way:
While you are on a page on the site, call up the Page Info dialog using one of these methods:
- Ctrl+i (for Mac, Command+i)
- (menu bar) Tools > Page Info
- click the lock icon in the address bar, on the drop-down click the > button, then at the bottom click "More Information"
When the dialog comes up, click the Permission icon at the top to show that panel.
Scroll down to "Open Pop-up Windows" and uncheck the "Use default" box, and then select Allow to remove the restriction for that site.
Changes are saved as you go, so you can close this dialog now.
Thanks everyone for your help!
