Appearance of my pages changed after last update

After the latest update, all of my browser windows have changed. In Gmail, there are white highlighted blocks on everything. In Google Docs there are now heavy lines and boxes where none existed previously. I've attached two images illustrating the problem.

I also have this problem - 1st I deleted all cookies/data and that did not fix anything. Then I did a refresh, I still have the problem. Other browsers worked fine, there are no extensions installed. Theme is set to system.

Attached is a screenshot of the firefox extension page.

Could be a problem with High Contrast Mode on Mac. See "New" in the release notes.

Firefox now automatically enables High Contrast Mode when "Increase Contrast" is checked on MacOS in the Accessibility settings.

Make sure you allow pages to choose their own colors.

  • Settings -> General: Fonts & Colors -> Colors: "Override the colors specified by the page with my selections above"

Try "Never" if the default "Only with High Contrast themes" isn't working.
