the icons changed on the home page, after the last firefox update.

I have vision difficulties and zooming in the the page does not help. I would either like to go back to the previous update, or a fix that would enable the icon shortcuts to remain where the color and words spread across each block

Hi gm4767, in Firefox 89, the design of the "Top Sites"/"Shortcuts" section of the built-in Firefox Home / new tab page changed from a larger "thumbnail" image of the site to a smaller site icon in a white box. Is that the change you're noticing in Firefox 92?

The temporary roll-back preference for that change is still in Firefox 92 (appears to be removed in Firefox 94 beta):

(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter/Return. Click the button accepting the risk.

(2) In the search box in the page, type or paste newNew and pause while the list is filtered

(3) Double-click the browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.newNewtabExperience.enabled preference to switch the value from true to false
