Trasferire profilo Thunderbird

Ho appena installato Ubuntu 21.10. Finora ho usato la versione 18.10. Adesso vorrei trasferire il profilo di thunderbird dalla 18.10 alla nuova 21.10. Ho provato seguendo sia le vostre istruzioni che quello che è stato pubblicato in vari farum. Purtroppo non ci sono riuscito perché la configurazione di Thunderbird sulla 21.10 è completamente diversa da quella presente sulla 18.10.
