Hi Tallguy924,

Your missing passwords (and other user data) may be located in another Firefox profile. See Recover user data missing after Firefox update: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/recover-user-data-missing-after-firefox-update

Hope that guide helps.

Look on your desktop. Do you see a folder called; Old Firefox? Look inside. Look for the folder with the latest creation date.

Type about:profiles<enter> in the address box. How many profiles are listed? How many should be there? Also, open the profile folder in your file explorer.

Is there only one profile present if you go to the current profile folder and go up one level.

  • C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\

You can use the button on the "Help -> More Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page (Root directory).

You can check if you have an "Old Firefox Data" folder on the desktop in case the Refresh feature in Firefox has been used and a new profile has been created.

You can copy certain files with Firefox closed to the current profile folder to transfer or recover personal data.
