Hi, for some websites I need to "proof" which pages I visited from my phone, with the exact URL, and ideally "when" I vistied them. In other words, I would need to save the browsing history from my Android phone in a file. Ideally with the same information as is availabel in the FF Windows Version. So including "Name", "web-address", and "last visited". Btw, I do know this is not a real "proof", but it would be sufficient for me.

Unfortunately for whatever reason (part of the) history has not synced through Firefox Sync, so I cannot get access on my phone's browsing history via my PC. On the phone I can see the visited sites, but I cannot see the day/time when they were last visited. So I don't know how old the missing browsing history is. But having done some digging, I assume the reaon that the history won't sync is because Firefox Sync supposedly only uploads the last 30 days of browsing history (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1279256)

I see 2 possible options. And one partial workaround. I am open for any other ideas 1.) Is there any way to "force" Firefox Sync to sync all the browing data, and therefore even get the old history from Android to my PC? 2.) Or is there an aequivalent of a profile folder on Android, which I could access, and then eventually download the file or db containing the history? My phone is however not rooted.

WORKAROUND: The workaround I found was manually clicking on every link in the history, then clicking "SHARE", and sharing/sending them to myself via email. However there are several disadvantages with this approach: a.) quite a manual exercise, and many emails... b.) cannot be imported back / opened up in a browser easily c.) it doesnt give any indication of when the page was visited - which would be important for me. d.) The format on how it shows up in the mail is not helpful - in the first paragraph it lists all the titles, and in the second paragraph all the links so would be a lot of copy-pasting bringing the title and the web-address together.

Would really appreciate any help and suggestions. Thanks a lot in advance, Oliver

Hi

It is not possible to export the history to a file. The only export option is to use Firefox Sync to sync it to another device.
