New to Thunderbird, Hi all. I am not sure how to ask this question but with my currant client allows me to adjust (" synchronize items every") than has a selection box for minutes of adjustment. I have mine set for 1 minute. How does Thunderbird work and is there any adjustment. Thank you in advance.

I suggest setting the time for mail check to correspond with your own work tendencies. That is, if you want people to believe that you respond within minutes of emails they send to you, then a one minute setting is needed. But if you're like most of us, and don't respond instantly to every incoming email, then I suggest setting it to be done less frequently, whether 10 minutes, or 30 minutes or whatever suits your personal work schedule. And... the less frequently you check, the less cpu resources you use. Continually checking for mail takes resources. Anyway, good question. I hope this helps.
