Cannot send messages from multiple accounts
I have 9 accounts using 5 different servers. All were working fine until recently. Now when I attempt to send from any account I get the message; "The message could not be sent because connecting to Outgoing server (SMTP) mail.optusnet.com.au failed. The server may be unavailable or is refusing SMTP connections. Please verify that your Outgoing server (SMTP) settings are correct and try again." I have tried disabling firewall and virus. Sending using the same SMPT settings on Blue Mail works fine. OS is Windows 11 64bit Thunderbird 91.10 Tyoical outgoing settins attached.

The 9 accounts use 3 different servers. I have now deleted and reinstalled all my accoints bar my main personal account. They all now work OK except they needed to be IMAP. My main account is POP on optusnet.com.au but if I set up a new account on that server using POP I get the same send problem. Is it possible to change my main account from POP to IMAP? I do not want to delete it as I want to retain the associated folder emails.

Reboot Windows into safe mode with networking and try again. Something is interfering with Thunderbird's network communication.
According to https://www.optus.com.au/for-you/support/answer?id=1434, the username should be your full email address.
Thanks for your suggestions Stans but safe mode with networking produced the same result The smpt settings always worked in the past, but tried full email address and same result.
So, all 9 accounts are trying to send using the same SMTP server (captured in screenshot)?
