Recently I am continuously proposed to install updates. I do that, but I think the installation may fail, because immediately after restarting Firefox I'm proposed to install a new update. I have Firefox set up to download updates as soon as they are available.

The version I'm using is 104.0, which should be the latest one available for desktop, therefore I don't understand why the browser is trying to load again the update.

Sounds like you got security software blocking the updates to complete them otherwise a Addon could be preventing final updates as well. Usually when it keeps asking means it didn't install the updates.

Hi, thanks a lot for your reply. It is certainly possible that our company's security software is interfering with the update. What is strange though is that the version installed is the same as the latest version available, which makes me think that the install has been successful. Any thoughts? In parallel I will ask our IT helpdesk

If one person has this problem, it will mean that thousands will have this problem. I've had it for a while now, I update and everything is fine until the next day. Now I usually dismiss it and only update, usually, once a week. It would be good if this could be corrected or tell me how to correct. 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor; Windows 10 Pro; 22H2; 19045.2486; Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.4190.0. Edge is turned off, including updates, etc. I use Firefox and Chrome (the reason I use Chrome is for detailed searches on Google and for forms that cannot be ran on Firefox). But Firefox is my default. Security is Microsoft Windows.
