email search. It used to be so nice and easy to find any e-mail and now it is almost impossible. I guess there was an update or something.

I can't find e-mails in my inbox folder. It used to be highlighted in the inbox after I put information in the search box. and there were two options to search. Now there is only one option to search and it opens a separate tab outside of the inbox and dose not find all of the e-mails in the conversation and it is extremely inconvinient to find an e-mail I need or simply impossible. I'm ready to quit Thunderbird completely because it is a big inconvenience for me. How can I bring back previous option?

Try pressing Ctrl+Shift+K to open up the quick filter toolbar (it has an icon on the toolbar)
