How running different instances of Firefox?

more options

Hello, How is it possible to run different instances of Firefox on Windows and on Android? I would like to have for the same user e.g., Firefox_1 with one set of open tabs and Firefox_2 with a different set of open tabs. Is this possible, and if so, how to do it on Windows and how on Android? Or, is there another way of selecting in Firefox between two (or more) windows with different sets of open tabs? Thanks and regards, Marcel

Hi Marcel, on Windows, you can have multiple windows without doing anything extra (Ctrl+N or right-click a link > Open Link in New Window). If you want them more separate -- for example, logging into two different Google accounts -- then you can create additional profiles. I don't think this feature exists on Android. See: Profile Manager - Create, remove or switch Firefox profiles.

On Android, you can install the Firefox Beta app as a second browser. It is one version advanced from the current release. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.mozilla.firefox_beta
