Screenshot of the issue? Extensions comes from Addon Firefox page that other create for Firefox addon. So if you have issues with Addons you need to contact the Addon developer for support.

See this article. You now use the extensions button which gives you an option to remove an extension.

Freshy sounds like you got a browser hijacker installed.
