Recently YT is barely loading videos with the message "if playback doesn't begin shortly, try restarting your device" or it simply stuck tried on edge and it doesn't happened can anybody help me diagnose this problem?

Restarting FF doesn't always work has to be done multiple times, and it soon breaks after browsing or restarting the browser

The grey bar on the player does load but the player never plays its just back

idk what happened but downgrades to FF 14.0.2 and no problem with videos loading so far when downgrading it asked for me to create new profile for FF so it wont conflict with the new version so i did so idk if its the old version of FF or the new profile that fixed it

i still sometimes get a slight freeze with screen blur and unresponsiveness when going on YT for 1-3 seconds but this beats not having the video load and wasting 5-10 minutes trying work around to get it to work and to my memory i have been having that freeze for a few years now

This could be a problem with the TLS 1.3 Early Data feature also known as Zero Round Trip Time Resumption (0rtt). You can try to set security.tls.enable_0rtt_data = false on the about:config page to disable this feature until this is fixed by Google or Mozilla to see if that helps.

mine is already set to false

confirmed update and not new profile as soon as i updated to 15.0.2 on new profile problem returned immediately

Does it still happen on the latest Nightly build?

im not sure how to get the nightly build i updated yesterday to 15.0.2 and immediately the problem returned so i deleted everything all profiles and reinstalled FF but with 14 version no issues but it does sometimes freeze for 1-3 sec then playback starts which i believe i always had id take that then having a blank player and having to clear history and restart several times

ive tried all the work arounds prior to downgrading, updating divers, clean re stall with FF, i dont run any add ons or extensions, and a host of other fixs that are mentioned online but none worked

im not sure how to get the nightly build

1. Visit https://nightly.mozilla.org/. 2. Click the blue "Download" button next to the Nightly title. 3. Install. 4. Run from the "Firefox Nightly" desktop shortcut.

Does it still happen?

Keep in mind that Nightly updates twice per day.

Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support to see if that has effect.

on the night build and no problems in fact FF running snappier all around

Good to hear it is working in Nightly. If it also works in Firefox Beta (available at https://beta.mozilla.org) then the fix will definitely be in the next release.
