Lost Bookmarks After Syncing Firefox on New Mac Device
Hello Firefox Community,
I'm experiencing a significant issue with my Firefox bookmarks after migrating to a new Mac device. Background:
- 1 I recently switched to a new Mac and installed Firefox.
- 2 Before the switch, I was using Firefox on another Mac, and I had synced all my bookmarks and other data with my Firefox account.
- 4 The old Mac has since been formatted, and unfortunately, I no longer have access to it.
- 5 After signing in to my Firefox account on the new Mac, I noticed that none of my previously synced bookmarks appeared. It’s as if the sync didn’t bring over any of my old data.
TL;DR: Despite having synced my bookmarks with Firefox on my old Mac, they did not transfer to my new Mac after syncing. I’m worried that these bookmarks might be lost forever.
Is there any way to recover my old bookmarks from the Firefox Sync servers or through any other means?
Thank you in advance for your help!
