Why doesn't Firefox support the Windows 7 taskbar properly.
Firefox doesn't work properly as a static button on the Windows 7 taskbar. When you close the main window of Firefox, the Downloads window stays open. Because this is a Firefox window that is still open, you can't start up another main window of Firefox without first closing the Downloads window. This is contrary to the design expectations of Windows 7's taskbar.
This happened
Every time Firefox opened
== I installed Firefox on Windows 7

Double clicking the Firefox icon on the desktop (or using the start menu) will allow another 'main' window of Firefox to open - even if the download window is still open.
This behavior is corrected in the latest alpha versions of Firefox, so that closing the last 'main' window will exit the application - even if windows like Downloads are still active. (This will be corrected in Firefox 4.0, since Firefox minor updates only fix security and stability problems and don't introduce new behavior)
