Cannot get Flash to install on FF 6.6.6 Mac
I upgraded FF to 6.6.6 and was prompted to update my Flash Player. I did so and the first time it hung up at 95% and I had to force quit it. I tried several times after that and each time it said "Install failed" and only gave me a link to support ... where I tried all of the tricks, including de-installing Flash ... and nothing worked. Now I'm left with a great new FF and no Flash. I've rebooted, and re-downloaded the dmg file and nothing works.
Will someone please help me get Flash installed on FF? It's my favorite browser and I need this plug-in.
Thanks!!
Jane

OK First there is no Firefox version 6.6.6 available nor will there will be right now. There version I think you are referring to is Firefox 3.6.6 or 4.0b1.
Second you can download Flash Player here
I tried to edit my post or add an addendum to say I meant to write 3.6.6 but couldn't. The problem has been resolved. Just wish I knew what I did to fix it. I tried a new way to launch the installer (but I'm not at my Mac at home right now and cannot remember the term for the program I opened ... icon looks like a gray chalk board) ... "terminal" ... is that it? Anyway, it finally installed. Thanks for the help ... Now, I just hope I can post this since I couldn't yesterday.
