I have a Mac OS X 10.2.8, and I need to download firefox because a well known browser is necessary for many sites. However, I cannot find a verson of firefox that is old enough to work on my computer. Help?
My Mac was at one point running a newer OS, and everything was working fine, but my computer started having issues and wouldn't start no matter what. So I had to reinstall my software, but I only had an old version. If anyone knows how to get a really old version of Firefox for a Mac, please help me. It is much appreciated.

You can also look at SeaMonkey 1.1.19

You may need to spoof the user agent by adding or changing Firefox/3.0

For Mac 10.2.8 you need Firefox 2.0.0.20 as Firefox 3 will NOT RUN on your Operating System.
Download Firefox 2.0.0.20 from HERE.... http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html
Follow THESE Instructions to Install... http://kb.mozillazine.org/Installing_Firefox#Mac_OS_X
BUT This is scheduled to be the LAST release of Firefox 2, so you will need to upgrade youur computer to receive further updates.
