Am looking for a firefox plug-in that will help me block downloads that exceed a certain KB or MB
I run an internet cafe and is looking for a firefox plug(or any software compartible with Mozilla) that can block internet downloads that exceed 5M at any point in time on the workstations. The ones I can see blocks downloads completely or limits the download bandwidth for each system. I use Mozilla as my internet browser . Can anyone help.

I don't think that you can do that. Also the file size is not always known beforehand. If they are downloading directly to the hard drive then a possibility is to set a quota for that folder via a Window policy. If they can save to an USB stick then that won't work either.
Thanks dear for the suggestion. I like your suggestion on windows policy. But I guess I need to be running Active Directory to get that done. Or can I still get it done on individual systems. If so which of the window policies should I be looking out for. Thanks.
Hi cor-el
Thanx for the suggestion
