I downloaded firefox and it extracts but then does not install.

I was having some problems with firefox freezing up and "not responding" when I was trying to look at a print preview. I then tried to uninstall firefox but for some reason it was not uninstalling. So I then went in and deleted everything firefox manually. Now when I try to reinstall it is not working. It downloads fine then extracts but after that nothing else shows up. It shows that it is still running in my task manager but nothing is happening.

Someone please help ASAP. I absolutely hate using IE. I've been using firefox for years and would like to continue using it.
